The Politecnico di Torino is the seat of Engineering and Architecture Schools and one of the most prestigious Institutes in technical and scientific field in the North of Italy, Torino, the capital of Piedmont. The quality of the Politecnico di Torino and its thorough scientific proficiency is acknowledged all over the world. Each year nearly 350 foreign students move to Italy to attend the Politecnico. Most students are from Europe but some come from Latin America, Australia and Asia.

There are 26000 students enrolled at the Politecnico every year, with a 50% increase in the last 10 years. Politecnico staff is made up of 900 professors/researchers, 580 PhD students, 340 research assistants, around 1000 technicians and clerks.

In order to organize and manage its didactic activities, the Politecnico has 6 Schools (4 of Engineering and 2 of Architecture) and the Scuola di Dottorato (Ph.D. School).

The Third School of Engineering - Information and Communication Technologies offers BS degree courses, MS degree courses, 1st and 2nd Level Specializing Masters and PhD Curricula.
